Impact
We are proud of our Curriculum and the impact of it, which helps pupils to:
- develop lively, enquiring minds, an ability to question and an ability to apply themselves to tasks and physical skills;
- develop personal moral values, respect for religious values and tolerance of other races’ beliefs and ways of life;
- understand the world in which they live and
- meet and exceed age related expectations so that they are ready for the next phase of their education.
Oak Tree Week
This week takes place at the end of each academic year; it provides the opportunity to reflect on the year, celebrate achievements, share the positives and refer back to the skills and knowledge that children have developed over the year (particularly within learning themes). We use this week to help form assessment judgements across curriculum areas.
